Updates from Andrew!

I haven’t posted on my blog for a while and I thought it was time for me to give you an update on our book.

Over the last year, American Stonehenge, the first book in the series The Adventures of Jimmy and Andrew, has steadily been growing an international audience. The book has captivated readers from around the world. Check out our Review Page so you can see just what I mean! (And we’re constantly updating this page because the new reviews keep coming in!) But it’s not only children who love American Stonehenge.

Even though the book is categorized and has won awards in Middle Grade Fiction, grown-ups are also loving it. Grown-ups like my friend Rolly, @rolly.looks.at.books, who said, “This illustrated adventure book may be intended for upper-middle graders, but as an adult, I found the story gripping.” And our latest reviewer Krista, @thrillersandcoffee, who gave the book 5 stars and said, “I loved going on this action-packed adventure with Jimmy and his dog, Andrew. Even though this book is perfect for middle grade ages, I think adults would love this as well.”

Since so many of our readers have asked about the sequel to American Stonehenge, I thought that I should also say something about the second book in the series, Land of Caverns. Book 2 is written and in the final stages of editing. But if you want my opinion, and I’ve read the manuscript a bunch of times, I think it’s done. It may need a little polishing, but basically it’s done.

We also know how we’ll be illustrating the second book. All I can tell you is that it’ll be different from the way that American Stonehenge was illustrated. Different, but really cool! I give you my personal guarantee, that if you liked American Stonehenge, you’ll love Land of Caverns! And if you found American Stonehenge exciting, you’ll find Land of Caverns exhilarating! It's is like American Stonehenge on steroids! I’m so excited! I can’t wait for our readers to read Land of Caverns!

But more practical minds remind me, “First things first. We need to first get more people reading American Stonehenge.”So if you haven’t yet joined The Adventures, then I hope that you will peruse our website and see what you’re missing!
